WEEK TWO POWER RANKINGS: INJURIES, NOT SO TIGHT ENDS AND A NEW SPONSOR!

Week one is in the proverbial books, and it was...interesting? It was one of the worst overall fantasy passing weeks of the century...as far as you know.

If you chose a tight end thinking they'd give you fantasy points that didn't really pan out so much. But enough about the sad, sad, sad passing game stuff, let's get to what you're here for!

First, the BOOM! Tough Actin' Tinactin Matchup of the Week. Well, I guess I am 0-1 picking these and Commitment to Excellence just completely pulled away in the early games on Sunday and this one was quickly out of reach!

Will the win be enough to get Commitment to Excellence to the top spot in the Week Two Power Rankings brought to you by McDowell's, Home of the Big Mick?

Well, let's take a looksie, shall we?

10) D'Preshea (0-1, PR: 9)- Looks like D'Preshea was feeling d'pressure in week one, amirite? Well, they were locked in a close ugly matchup and almost pulled off the upset.

Yeah, that's a shame. Week two is not looking much better as they play the current highest scoring team in the league, and they have a bottom three projected score, soooo I wouldn't expect immediate movement.

9) RaiderNation247365 (0-1, PR: 7)- I know, I know, this team was the 4th highest scoring team and had the misfortune of playing the 3rd highest scoring team in week one, hardly seems like a reason to drop two spots. But the Week Two Power Rankings brought to you by McDowell's, Home of the Big Mick are not just about right now, but about projecting going forward as well.

Omari right now:

Look, it was a good first week, score wise, but this team is turning into an episode of Grey's Anatomy!

Ye, seriously! Puca is on IR, David Njoku is out, Achane might not play and Javonte Williams is nursing an injury. Not looking it will be a very McDreamy next few weeks for this team.

8) Woozy Wendigos (0-1, PR:10)-

Albeit it not in the standings, yet, this team is on the up and up! Saquon made sure this team was out of their week one matchup early, but look out folks, because objects in your rearview may be closer than they appear! Cooper Kupp probably won't be that good every week, but he is for sure back to form and with Puka out he's ready to roll! And even though his name is JK, we're not kidding when we see Dobbins in the 15th is looking real smart right now!

7) Kevin's Choice Team (0-1, PR: 6)- That lowest week one points total maybe should have dropped Kev another spot or two, but our projections have him scoring the second most points this week. Week one was abysmal, but if you think Patrick Mahomes, Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Burrow are going to score that little week...welll...I think you're wrong. So there.

6) Matthew's Primo Team (aka the Carolina Reapers)(1-0, PR: 8)- This was the 3rd highest scoring team of the week and they got 7.22 from the only QB they played! Get's them a modest bump, because that may not seem sustainable. The QB play should get a bit better especially if he lets Mayfield, Bake!

Yeah, put up the 3rd highest week one point total with four passing touchdowns on his bench.

5) Lynch'n Friends (1-0, PR: 4)- Yes, a win and a drop in the Week Two Power Rankings brought to you by the Golden Arcs of McDowell's. This can happen when you win with the second lowest point total of the week. This team looks like a lot of boom and bust and certainly was a bold move starting an injured Tee Higgins (gotta hurt losing to that, huh Kev?).

We'll need to see some savvier moves if this team wants to start heading in the right direction in the ol' PRs.

4) Tank and the Dell-ites (1-0, PR: 3)- Week one was not so Dell-ite-ful for this squad, but at least the QB play was good. A rough week, but the odds of over 70% of their starting lineup underperforming against their projections again in week two? Probably low? Right? The key is not to overreact or have any big knee jerk reactions

3) Dun Khantz (1-0, PR:5)- Week one's top scorer moves up two spots here and is handling it with a humble grace and sophistication.

This is a balanced team and although Saquon isn't going to score three touchdowns and kickers aren't generally gonna be your 2nd highest scorer every week. They should roll over D'presh Mode in week two.

2) Jordan Spectacular Team (0-1, PR:1)- Jordan was hanging in there for a bit and then Josh Allen and Joe Mixon blew UP and just like that...it's a one in the loss column. Well, they shed the Raiders defense, which ironically, aided their week one opponent...a Raiders fan. They get Raiders fan number two this week and with injuries that roster is starting to look like number two, which should help Jordan hop into the win column.

1) Commitment to Excellence (1-0, PR:2)- What does it feel like dethroning the #1 team in the Power Rankings brought to you by the Golden Arcs of McDowell's?

Yeah, sort of like that. Well, enjoy it while you can, because the injury bug came a calling, and now the target is on your back! With Tua and Jordan Mason on the roster though they should be able weather this early injury storm...or squall or whatever.

Alright onto the Barbasol Matchup of the WEEK!

Tank and the Dell-ites vs Matthew's Primo Team (aka the Carolina Reapers)- This is 4 vs 6 in the Power Rankings brought to you by the Golden Arcs of McDowell's and it should be a close one. MPT started on a high note, and they are poised to keep rolling, while the Dell-ites are looking to walk all over this team as if it were their...door....Matt.

The spread favors Matty, by 4.92 and I am picking Will to cover the spread but lose a squeaker!

Good luck to all but Matt! I'll see you next week!
